"The only people who read all literary fiction all the time are people who work in publishing or MFA students who want to be writers." I love Paul for that comment alone.

I'm one of the several million avid readers who likes to post online reviews, and I love book bloggers. They're opening up new genres for me. Let the democratization of reading continue.

I have to disagree with this statement. The two movies cited as examples, altho different, are both popular films. I don't believe movie reviewers review all movies--the indies & arthouse films, stuff you'll only find at the IFC? Not all movie reviewers will cover pieces like those.

P.S. Tough call, but I vote Batman. Wolverine is only a hero b/c it was thrust upon him. Batman made a choice.

I haven't heard the term "trashy romance novel" in a while. I thought that stopped after the two day symposium I attended at Princeton University.
