I'd like to add that my wife brought home this thing a few weeks back, with the same look my dog has when he brings in a dead squirl from the backyard.
She liked the cover art, she said.. oh, graphic designers, always falling for well placed color patterns. Its been three weeks and she has been unable to move on from chapter 1. I'm considereing letting my dog spend some time with the book. At least, that way, it will entertain somebody in my household.
I'm in the middle of reading this book and I'm...underwhelmed. Lots of telling, very little showing. When will I learn that books this hyped tend to be not that good? Movie was well done, though.
Of course, I had to had Better Book Titles to my Google Reader. Too many blogs, not enough time.
