If you go to Seneca Falls, you can find stickers featuring Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Lucretia Mott, and Other Popular Suffragettes. So so SO exciting.

Also, you all do not know how much it has been killing me to not Photoshop any type of book covers here this week.

KILLING.

ME.

You know what had a huge impact on women's independence? Seriously? Bicycles! I was researching bicycle history last weekend for my WIP and almost every website mentions the connection between bicycles and suffrage. Susan B. Anthony was a huge proponent of the bicycle.

They gave women a freedom and mobility they'd never had before and helped usher in an era of "sensible clothes" for women that blazed the trail leading from corsets and bustles to leopard-print spandex and slayer shirts. :D
