Haha! Love it.

Okay, I'm not lying or joking in any way...my word verification is "dudeness."

Does someone get paid to come up with these?

Two fonts walk into a bar. The bartender looks up and says, "Hey! We don't serve your type here."

(Thanks to Sarah for telling me this joke. You know who you are.)

LOVE it and love the joke Carrie! This was timely because I was just drooling over a set of Pantone color mugs and thinking to myself "God I love fonts and colors."

I was just explaining to someone the other day that I'm not a font geek.

I just think you should always use Times New Roman on any sort of business writing because that's the industry standard and, besides, Courier New looks so skinny and anorexic and don't even talk to me about Comic Sans! Or any other sans font, for that matter. I mean, what is the matter with people! Some of us are near-sighted. We can't tell our vowels apart without serifs! Now, I do quite like Lucida Handwriting if there's a need for cursive. Book Antiqua is nice, but of course, it's very similar to TNR, but with a nice, old-fashioned feel to it. The same could be said for Bookman Old Style. And I LOVE Black Chancery, although that's definitely a special occasions font and not for everyday use. And once in a while there's a one-off need for something outlandish like Matisse ITC or Jokerman. And it makes me CRAZY that Calibri is the default font in Word. I mean! Who the hell uses Calibri? For ANYTHING?!?!?

But I'm not a font geek.

Oooh, Book Antiqua... I love me some of that. I do all my store signs and stuff in Book Antiqua. I mean, it's called Book Antiqua. Must use. Must use. Must use.

Dudeness. I'm enjoying that word. Would it be like "His Dudeness"? Or "Greg's baseball team showed up at the pub and the dudeness was overwhelming"?

And what would be the female version of that word? Chickness. That sounds a bit poultry to me.

Estrogenosity. Or as my wife would say, "Boobs rule the world." Which I would put in Baskerville Old Face if I wanted to make a statement or Cooper Black if I wanted to put it on a T-shirt.
