You got the point didn't you? I always think as long as I'm in the vicinity the reader will figure it out. Proofreading is so time consuming, and then there's all of that dictionary business. Who needs it?

Harry Truman said something like (because it's late and I'm too tired to look up the exact quote): "we have freedom of speech in America and of course that lets the crazies in. But if you can't tell a crazy when you hear one, you deserve to be fooled."
Errors such as these both make my day and hurt my soul...as someone who redacts, edits, and proofreads professional works for a living, I hate seeing others do it so poorly. However, it also assures me that I will have a job for as long as my brain functions at a level close to what it does now.
